This program offers a unique opportunity to learn about specialist security techniques and use real-world networking equipment in a security context. Students are also educated about market-leading Cisco Routing & Switching Techniques, security appliances, ethical hacking techniques, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing and data encryption technology. This program also offers flexibility in the final year; with optional units including areas such as Server Windows 2008, Exchange, Administration and a Varied Catalog of Linux Administration/Unix Shell Scripting / Emerging Web Technologies and Cloud Computing/SAP Administration.

Entry Requirements
In order to be eligible for the course of study in Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, candidates should have fulfilled the relevant minimum qualifications indicated under one of the following three categories.
Category (1)
(a) Sri Lankan GCE AL: A minimum of 3 "S" passes in any 3 approved AL subject
OR
(b) Cambridge/Edexcel AL: A minimum of 3 "E" passes in any subject.
Category (2)
Those without 3 AL passes as indicated in category (1) (a) OR (1)(b) but sat for AL examination AND successful completion of Lincoln Foundation in Maths (10 months)
Category (3)
GCE OL 6 passes including Maths and successful completion of Lincoln Foundation in Maths (12 months)

Pearson Higher National Diploma/SQA Advanced Diploma or any other Diploma in relevant field to be considered on case by case basis in consultation with Lincoln University
